Wood City Riders Trail Report, January 13, 2012
The trails in the Cloquet area remain closed due to a lack of any snow. That lack of snow combined with cold weather has allowed our Trail Taskmasters, and their crews, more time and better conditions to complete trail work, especially in the low and swampy parts of our trail system. The majority of our trail system has been mowed with our new four-wheel drive compact tractor and mower, and our trails are in the best pre-snow condition ever. The groomers and drags are ready and waiting. All we need is SNOW! ! !
Offering 500 miles of beautiful, uncrowded, groomed trails in Carlton County alone with connections to Wisconsin, Aitkin, and Pine County Trails.
Lake effect snow and an easy access in-town system are nly 2 hours north of the Twin Cities on I-35, 20 miles south of Duluth.
