ABOUT THE RACE: Race presented by the Washington Elementary School Partners in Education (PIE). Events will take place at the Cloquet High School Track in the following divisions: 100 yd. Dash (ages 4 and under – parents may run with their child(ren) during this race), 1/4 mile (ages 5-6), 1/4 mile (ages 7-8), 1/2 mile (ages 9-10), 1/2 mile (ages 11-12), Lumberjack Mile Run (18 and under), Legacy Mile Walk/Run (19 and older). Participants may enter in both their age division race and the Lumberjack Mile if desired.
Participation ribbons will be given to all 12 and under finishers. Medals will be given to top three boy and top three girl finishers in each 18 and under race division. Prizes will be awarded to top overall finishers in the Legacy Mile Walk/Run.
WHERE: Cloquet High School Outdoor Track, 1008 18th St., Cloquet, MN. Track entrance on 22nd Street
WHEN: Saturday, May 11, 2013. Races begin at 10:00 a.m. Check-in and same-day registration is from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. Pre-race day check-in will be Friday, May 10, 3:15-4:45 p.m. at Washington Elementary. Awards ceremony to follow the event. The event is open to the public. Rain date is Sunday, May 13, 2012, Noon.
COURSE: Participants will race on an outdoor 400-meter track. The race will be timed.
ENTRY FEES: $6 per person if received by April 28, $8 per person after April 28. Entry fees are non-refundable. All proceeds support the Washington Elementary School Playground & Technology Fund
T-Shirts: Pre-ordered short-sleeved race t-shirts are available if order is received by April 28. Race t-shirts are $8 each and will be available for pick-up at the event. T-shirt orders received after April 28 are not guaranteed to be available on race day.

RACE AMENITIES: This event will feature an opening flag ceremony, mascot race, silent auction, door prize giveaways, kids’ fun area, and an awards ceremony following the races. Concessions will be available for purchase. A registered nurse will be on site. Must be present for door prizes. Race bags will be given to the first 250 12 & under registered participants.
Silent Auction: There will be a silent auction and door prize raffle this year! Silent auction will begin on Friday, May 11th at the pre-race packet pick-up located at Washington Elementary Gym!
